The Berkeley County Emergency Ambulance Authority will accept applications to establish a list for testing and hiring of full-time and part-time Paramedic Only, Firefighter/Paramedics, and EMT-B’s for future employment.
The BCEAA coordinates and conducts initial and recurrent training in Emergency Medical Services.

To provide temporary life support to the sick and injured regardless of race, ethnicity, and/or the ability to pay.
Assure safe transport to the nearest appropriate medical facility.
Ensure the continuum of care once at the medical facility.
To offer safety awareness programs throughout the community we serve.
